Forest Arts Centre is thrilled to unveil an exciting line-up of events for January, and an open day too, promising an array of entertainment for audiences of all ages.

This silly goose has appeared on Off Menu, You're Dead To Me, Guilty Feminist, The Gargle. She's the co-host of BBC Sounds' hugely popular Wheel of Misfortune podcast with Kerry Katona.

Join us for a day-long festival of food and comedy, with mouth-watering local food stalls, inspiring cheese pairing sessions and headline comedian George Egg, the infamous anarchist cook whose live crazy cooking shows promise to have you in stitches.

An informal session ideal for creative people to meet and craft. Spend your afternoon with Deborah learning Pompom Owls, Valentine Hearts, Faberge Eggs, Decoupage, Creative Stamping and String Art whilst enjoying time to be mindful, relax and meet new friends.

Open Day - Zest Dance
Saturday 6 January, 10am-11am
Free
A vibrant and fun dance class exploring different styles of dance for children. This session is a great way to bust out your best dance moves, make lots of new friends and create fun memories to last a lifetime. No dance experience needed, just a love of dance and creativity.

Art Class
Saturday 6 January, 11:15am-12:15pm
Free
This class is a great opportunity for young artists to be creative, get messy and have fun. A firm favourite at Forest! For ages 5-10.

West End Centre, Aldershot

This January, the West End Centre in Aldershot is celebrating 10 years of its annual beer festival. The Westy Beer Festival will take place across three sessions on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 January with a Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening session.

With 50 cask ales and ciders from some of the finest Breweries across the UK, plus live music and food - what better way to kick off the New Year!

Keith James "The Music of Yusuf - Cat Stevens"

Keith James is a long standing, well-respected and inventive concert performer who specialises in playing intimate, carefully researched biographic style concerts of those he has studied and revered as writers over the years. He weaves the story of Cat Stevens’ life from his early pop career, life threatening illness and spiritual journey around a performance of his beautifully crafted and memorable songs. Keith has performed well over 100 of these concerts since 2017, all of which have been incredibly well received, with many sold out. 

King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys "Goodtime Rhythm & Blues"
