Andy Singleton: outer worlds

In our final behind the scenes offering for Andy Singleton’s Bodies exhibition in Winchester, we are pleased to share time-lapse footage of the installation of Surface - a large hanging paper-cut piece, representing celestial bodies. Naturally, it needed to be hung high!

The ability to observe nature through the development of science and technology has enhanced our understanding of life to an astounding degree. But for all our collective knowledge, it is impossible for us as individuals to comprehend the strangeness of our existence. The exhibition explores the power, energy and connection that we as humans have to the celestial world and seeks to understand that the inner and outer worlds are one and the same.
