To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation, Hampshire Cultural Trust is getting involved with this year’s Big Help Out (8 May 2023) alongside thousands of people across the country.
What is the Big Help Out?
The Big Help Out is planned to be the biggest volunteering event of 2023. Starting on Monday 8 May, lots of organisations across the country will be going live with their initiatives to support this event.
So, who is getting involved within Hampshire Cultural Trust?
On Monday 8 May, The Arc will be holding a Coronation Bunting Class. A free drop-in session, you’ll be welcomed by the lovely Arc team and their volunteer cohort. After the session, all participants will then be invited to help decorate the venue! Visit the Community Space at The Arc 10am to 3pm to get involved.

Milestones Museum, Basingstoke
To support The Big Help Out, Milestones will be holding a ‘Bring a Buddy Initiative’ on Monday 8 May, where new and existing volunteers are welcome to bring a friend along to volunteer that day.
Come along to enjoy a live performance from the Blue Stockings this Coronation Weekend. Sing along to '50s favorites and see how Milestones engage with their visitors and volunteers!
