Spotlight on...Still Curious

Still Curious is a two year, funded project that is being run at the Red House Museum and Gardens in Christchurch. The project is focused on increasing the accessibility and enjoyment of  local heritage for people with dementia and their carers, by creating a dementia-friendly activity programme.

Designed by the Still Curious team at the Red House Museum, these activity packs are designed with people with dementia and their carers in mind, but are open to all to download and enjoy. They are put together each week by the project’s co-ordinator and the team of volunteers who deliver the museum’s programmes of activity aimed at people with dementia and their carers. These activities include Curiosity Café,  a twice-monthly social event, and Tuesday Strolls, our heritage focused health walks. The packs have been developed to help us keep in touch with our existing participants and engage them with a range of activities. We are happy to share them with you and hope they will entertain, inspire and help you stay positive.

The Still Curious project is funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund, Hampshire Cultural Trust, Friends of the Red House Museum and Colten Care.
