Let’s create together: creative activities for families - origami butterfly

As part of Refugee Week 2022, we are inviting you to take part in a series of creative activities for families. We hope these origami activities will encourage creativity and conversation to celebrate our rich communities, looking after ourselves and each other in difficult times and new beginnings. We think creativity is a great way to come together, so these activities are accessible in English, Ukrainian, Pashto and Arabic.

Activity: How to make an origami butterfly

The collection of butterfly specimens below can be found in Westbury Manor Museum in Fareham. Take a closer look at the patterns and designs on each butterfly’s wings. How far do you think these butterflies have flown? Where do you think they have come from?
